10 September 2024 News Barix IPAC Devices: New Firmware v2.14 with Dante Exclusive Mode We’re excited to announce the release of Firmware v2.14 for Barix IP Audio Client (IPAC) devices, now featuring Dante Exclusive Mode! Key Highlights: Dante Exclusive Mode transforms your device into a 2-channel Dante receiver, ensuring end-to-end latency within the 10ms window. Dante Controller manages all Dante controls, while the Barix IPAC web interface remains available for network settings, output volume, firmware updates, and logs. Compatible Barix IP Audio Client Devices: Exstreamer M400 – IP Audio Decoder with stereo line-level audio output on RCA connectors. Exstreamer MPA400 – IP Audio Decoder, PoE or externally powered, with up to 40W amplified output on screw terminal block for loudspeakers. Exstreamer MR400 – IP Audio Decoder, 24VDC powered, with up to 1W amplified output and one relay. IP Former TPA400 – IP Audio Decoder, PoE powered, with up to 6W amplified output on screw terminal block for loudspeakers. Annuncicom MPI400 – IP Audio Encoder/Decoder, PoE powered, with up to 1W amplified output, balanced audio out, 3x audio inputs, digital inputs, and relays. Important Note: The product numbers for these devices won’t change. Simply order the same Barix product numbers with the Dante license included.
