05 December 2022 News New Partnership of CyberGate and Barix enables interoperability with Microsoft Teams for Barix IPAC devices Exstreamer MPA400, Exstreamer M400, IP Former TPA400, Annuncicom MPI400 New Partnership of CyberGate and Barix enabling interoperability with Microsoft Teams for Barix IPAC devices (Exstreamer MPA400, Exstreamer M400, IP Former TPA400, Annuncicom MPI400) Interoperability has always been essential to the spirit of innovation at Barix, and our IPAC Audio over IP devices now quite literally open new doors for our customers. Barix today announces that all four IPAC devices, including our new Annuncicom MPI400 amplifer/decoder, are fully interoperable with CyberGate, a SaaS service from CyberTwice that bridges SIP client devices with Microsoft Teams. CyberGate carefully chooses which hardware vendors they work with to support two-way audio and live video in the Teams environment. Working together, Barix and CyberGate provide businesses, schools and other users with a straightforward and cost-efficient way to make bidirectional SIP calls between Teams and Barix IPAC devices, and trigger activations using dual-tone multifrequency (DTMF) relays. This makes it possible to open doors and trigger alarms from any Teams device, including desktops, mobile apps and SIP phones, without using highly complex and expensive session board controllers. The Barix IPAC family continues to grow, with the new Annuncicom MPI400 joining our IP Former TPA400, Exstreamer M400, and Exstreamer MPA400 IP devices in time for ISE 2023. We look forward to sharing more about how Barix and CyberGate are opening new possibilities to Teams users worldwide through proven, trusted interoperability. For more information visit Cybertwice
